We stayed for two nights in Brazengate Lodge with our 5-year-old and had a really lovely time. The pub food and service were excellent, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lodge itself was a little dated in places, but it was very well kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was fantastic—spotlessly clean and well equipped, exactly what you’d hope for.We accidentally left some gloves behind, and the team kindly sent them on to us, which was much appreciated.Overall, a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Hi visited today with 3 friends, 2 who were booked in for spa day and treatments. Personal touch makes such a difference of been greeted by name. We all had lunch, the staff and service were amazing despite clearly been rushed off their feet. Polite with smiles and went above and beyond for us, thank you so much. Wish I had got your names but was the staff members on shift making the food and one that was taking orders, serving etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Am loving the new refurbished changing rooms. Fab to be back.

Really enjoyed the stay at Long Ashes this week for 2 nights. Had a very nice welcome from the receptionist, he even remembered my name “Sam”! The day after! :)Had a nice time exploring the area and also using the onsite swimming pool. The camping fields are nice and spacious and not too busy, not when we stayed anyway. I can’t wait to come back :)No complaints, the only thing was I had a shower at around 9:30/10pm and I think the hot water had run out, not sure if it’s on a timer ?! XAlso forgot to mention! The food at The Gamekeepers inn, is amazing! 👏🏻 My son also enjoyed playing in their park there which he made some friends to play with!x

We went here for My partners daughters Wedding vows renewal. It was fantastic! The staff were amazing and the food was great too. The event took place over a 10 hour period. Everything from Mystic mind reading to Live Entertainment, Photo booth and Prosecco/ Sparkler parades. They even had Cask beer!We stayed overnight and the price included Breakfast and use of the facilities, including the Gym and Swimming pool. A great improvement on the original Pool area in the 1979's and 80's... Good in its day... I had the pleasure of DJing on the Opening night... Some of the buildings and the grounds are still the same as they were when I sang with my sister there in our younger years. It still maintains that air of calm and peace. Especially in the early morning when rabbits, peacocks and deer can be seen enjoying the trees and fields in every direction from the centre point of the place. A mixture of residential and holiday chalets and caravans are tastefully blended into the whole scene. Makes you feel comfortable and rested, even after a long day and night partying with the crowd, at the celebration beautifully presented by Long Ashes and the hard working, friendly staff. ( I want to live there.... but I think a short stay will be the next step first!

This was my 3rd stay at Long Ashes but the 1st time at The Gamekeepers Inn. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area which had a sofa bed to accommodate families. Very clean. Had a coffee machine plus kettle with supplies of tea/coffee/sugar/biscuits. Visited the swimming pool/sauna/steam room, again very nice, not too busy. Ate at the Inn in the evening, good menu, not too expensive. We chose seabass & fish pie followed by sticky toffee pudding & sherry triffle. As it was my daughter's birthday the staff gave her a couple of birthday surprises which was lovely - thank you. Joined in with the quiz in the bar & was lucky enough to win the raffle! Lots to choose from for breakfast with cereals, porridge, muesli & cooked food. We had the full Yorkshire breakfast before heading off. Thoroughly enjoyable visit again, with lovely sunshine which always helps, not been disappointed yet. The staff are lovely & friendly. Definitely recommend a visit.
